Inspired from famous cafes in Thailand, Shanghai and Korea, the vibrant café-theme was recreated using a soothing pastel palette, wood panels, rattan, wallpapers and marble.
Singapore-based interior design firm Mr Shopper Studio was presented with the project during challenging times that was the circuit breaker in 2020, to renovate an apartment into a practical and conducive home for a young couple. “The couple who are lawyers by profession envisioned their home to be café-like with sufficient space for a walk-in-wardrobe and a home office as the hub,” shares Yawen Ng, the interior designer who led the reconstruction of the 2,700 square foot re-sale condominium unit.
Thank you Zi for the feature!

Love this concept, the pastel palette with rattan and marble gives it such a warm yet polished vibe. Mr Shopper Studio really nailed that café aesthetic while keeping it functional for work-from-home life. The walk-in-wardrobe and home office hub are smart touches for a young professional couple.
On a completely different note, if anyone here ever needs a solid source for mobile game mods, I recently came across Null Brawl and was genuinely impressed by how smooth and updated their version runs. Not related to interior design at all, but figured I'd throw it out there since it's been a pleasant find for me.
Retro Bowl College had me sweating through a final drive with no timeouts left. Pulling off that comeback felt like stealing a win from fate.
